“This course introduces the basic principles of ecology and evolutionary biology with focus on the marine environment. Topics covered include marine ecology at the population, community and ecosystems level; evolutionary principles; and the systematics, taxonomy and general biology of marine animals, algae and aquatic plants. Fieldwork and laboratory investigations are an integral part of the course.”

Engaging, with a lot of notes. Important to get the foundations of marine life. Not much homework is given, so it is important to reflect on your notes from time to time.
